Kick off your Nepal By Bike holiday with a smooth arrival and setup day.
- Activities: Airport pick-up, hotel check-in, assemble/fit rental bikes, and a safety briefing.
- Sightseeing: Stroll through Thamel, Kathmandu’s bustling adventure hub filled with gear shops and outdoor cafés.
- Highlights: Traditional Nepali welcome dinner and local street orientation.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Rim (Riding Day 1)
- Activities: ~35 km ride on mixed singletrack and jeep tracks around the northern rim of the valley.
- Sightseeing: Shivapuri National Park and hilltop viewpoints over the city.
- Highlights: Boudhanath Stupa—one of the world’s largest spherical stupas. Spin prayer wheels alongside Buddhist monks at sunset.
Day 3: Bhaktapur to Nagarkot (Riding Day 2)
- Activities: ~32 km steady climb on quiet paved and dirt backroads winding up through hillside villages.
- Sightseeing: Bhaktapur Durbar Square, an ancient Newari royal city full of red-brick temples and wood carvings.
- Highlights: Arriving at Nagarkot (2,175m) in time for a panoramic Himalayan sunset spanning from the Langtang range to Mt. Everest on clear days.
Day 4: Nagarkot Descent & Drive to Pokhara (Riding Day 3)
- Activities: Fast morning singletrack downhill (~20 km) through pine forests, followed by a scenic tourist transfer drive or short flight to Pokhara.
- Sightseeing: Changing landscapes as you drop down into the lush central valleys of Nepal.
- Highlights: Arriving in Pokhara, Nepal’s lake town nestled directly beneath the towering Annapurna Mountain Range.
Day 5: Pokhara Rest & Recovery Day (Free Day)
- Activities: No mandatory riding! Relax, get a sports massage, or rent a colorful wooden boat on the lake.
- Sightseeing: Phewa Lake, World Peace Pagoda perched on the ridge, and Devi’s Falls. Optional morning paragliding from Sarangkot.
- Highlights: Recharging your legs while taking in views of the double-peaked Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) reflected in the water.
Day 6: Pokhara to Begnas & Rupa Lakes (Riding Day 4)
- Activities: ~40 km loop on rolling countryside roads and punchy dirt climbs through rural farmland.
- Sightseeing: Twin lakes of Begnas and Rupa, far away from the main tourist crowds.
- Highlights: Pedaling through traditional Gurung and Magar villages, seeing local rice terraces up close.
Day 7: Pokhara Ridge Loop to Sarangkot (Riding Day 5)
- Activities: ~35 km ride with a challenging uphill effort followed by rewarding flowy singletrack and jeep trail downhills.
- Sightseeing: Sarangkot Viewpoint offering front-row views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre.
- Highlights: Thrilling technical descent through forest canopy back down to Lakeside Pokhara.

Day 8: Pokhara to Bandipur (Riding Day 6)
- Activities: ~45 km riding section combining riverside highway flats and a climb up to a mountain ridge village.
- Sightseeing: The beautifully preserved ancient trading town of Bandipur, famous for its 18th-century Newari architecture.
- Highlights: Traffic-free cobblestone main street, traditional wooden balconies, and sweeping valley vistas.
Day 9: Bandipur Trail & Return to Kathmandu (Riding Day 7)
- Activities: ~25 km morning ride along ridge trails before loading bikes onto the support vehicle for the scenic drive back to Kathmandu.
- Sightseeing: Trishuli River Valley and final views of the mid-hills.
- Highlights: Celebration farewell dinner in Kathmandu featuring local Newari cuisine and cultural dancing.
Day 10: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Airport Departure
- Activities: Optional last-minute souvenir shopping or city exploration before your airport transfer.
- Sightseeing: Swayambhunath (The Monkey Temple) overlooking the valley.
- Highlights: Wrap up your trip with memories of high Himalayan peaks, ancient culture, and 7 epic days on the trails.
